VPS Terms
Last updated: 28/10/2026
C1. What is included
- The resources stated in the order description: virtual CPUs, memory, disk, IPv4 and IPv6 address, traffic and the chosen location.
- Root (or administrator) access, reboot, password reset and reinstallation from the Client Area and via the API.
- If ordered, the KeyHelp panel with a licence activated by Eurhosting.
C2. Unmanaged VPS
Unless a management service is purchased, the VPS is unmanaged: the Customer administers the operating system, software, security updates, firewall, users and configuration, and is responsible for them. Eurhosting is responsible for the hardware, the virtualisation and the network up to the VPS.
C3. Reinstallation and data
Reinstallation irreversibly deletes all data on the VPS. The Customer requests it at its own risk, after saving its data. Eurhosting does not keep copies of the VPS unless a backup or snapshot service has been purchased.
C4. Resources, traffic and network
- Resources are reserved for the VPS; virtual CPUs may be shared with other VPSs on the same node, as stated in the plan description.
- Traffic exceeding the plan allowance, where one applies, may be throttled or charged according to the price list.
- In the event of a DDoS attack directed at the VPS, Eurhosting may filter or temporarily isolate the IP address to protect the network.
- Outbound port 25 may be blocked by default and opened upon a justified request.
C5. IP addresses
IP addresses remain the property of Eurhosting or the provider and are assigned only for the duration of the Service. The Customer may not announce them elsewhere or use IP addresses that have not been assigned to it. When the Service ends, the IP addresses become available again and may be reassigned.
C6. Prohibited uses
In addition to section 10 of the General Terms, the following are not permitted on the VPS: cryptocurrency mining, proxies or VPNs open to third parties, mass email services without the recipients' consent, and any use that causes an abnormal and continuous load on the shared node.
C7. Availability
Eurhosting works to keep the node and the network available at least 99.7% of the time on a monthly basis. This is a target, not a guaranteed SLA: any lower availability does not entitle the Customer to refunds, credits or compensation.
C8. Support
Included: problems with hardware, network, VPS boot, the console and Client Area functions. Not included: administration of the Customer's operating system and software, which may be offered for a fee.
C9. Termination
When the Service ends, or after deletion for non-payment, the VPS and its disks are destroyed and the data cannot be recovered.
